Low speed vehicles
A low speed vehicle rents like a golf cart and carries the file of a car. Bodhisys holds the road licence, the insurance, the streets it is allowed on and the tracker that says whether it stayed on them, against the vehicle rather than the booking.

A plated low speed vehicle has a VIN, a plate, seat belts and a 25 mph ceiling, and it is road legal on posted streets under 35. That puts it on the public road with the public, which a course cart on a plantation never is, and it changes who may drive it and what has to be on file before they do.
The driver needs a licence for the public road rather than a signature. Insurance has to cover the vehicle on that road, which is a question for the renter's policy or yours. Several jurisdictions add a sobriety check before it moves. Each of those is a document, and each one has to be attached to the person driving and to the vehicle they are driving, which a booking form built for seats has no place for.
On Bodhisys the booking lists every driver by name. Each one uploads a licence and insurance detail and signs the waiver on their own phone before arrival, and the vehicle stays held until the set is complete. Where a sobriety check is required it runs at handover against the person driving off, with video confirmation, and the record sits on the reservation.
None of that happens at a counter. The guest did it on Thursday evening, and Saturday morning is a key handover at the villa with a photograph. Waivers and licences covers what is collected, and the free LSV waiver template is the document itself.

An LSV is legal on a list of streets and illegal on the rest, and a renter in a hurry does not carry the list. A tracker in the vehicle reports its position onto the same screen as the reservation, and a boundary drawn around the plated streets raises an out-of-zone alert to the office at the crossing, with the vehicle, the renter and the time on it.
The alert arrives while the vehicle is still easy to reach, which is the whole point. The supported OBD unit costs around $20 to buy and about $70 a year to run, and it does one thing: it reports position and raises the alert. There is no remote cut-off and no way to stop the vehicle from the office. Telling renters the vehicle is tracked, and meeting whatever your state requires about that, sits with you. Vehicle tracking for carts and LSVs covers the rest.
Out on hire
Alerts
Three carts are out on hire, each one reporting into the record that holds the reservation it went out on. All three are inside the zone.
Most LSV operators also rent course carts, and the two sit in one catalogue on the same availability, seasonal rates, delivery runs and checkout. What changes is which documents hold the unit back, and that belongs to the vehicle record rather than to the person taking the booking.
Delivery runs are sequenced by address and window, each drop closes with a photograph the guest receives, and a returned vehicle is inspected against its own record and stays off the board until it is fit. What automating an LSV rental means in practice walks through the five handoffs.
Eight carts and LSVs, two locations, one in the workshop. Book against each model and see which one can tell you which cart the customer is getting.
What they rent, where they rent it, and which parts of the platform their morning depends on. Their own account of it is underneath, in the words they gave it.
With Bodhisys, we've been able to streamline our entire workflow. The ability to track deliveries, capture vehicle condition photos, and manage guest documentation all in one place has reduced errors and saved our team hours every day. It's brought a level of organization and visibility we didn't have before.
Bodhisys charges no monthly fee. The platform takes 4.5%, added to each reservation and paid by your customer rather than by you. Adding a vehicle, a driver or a location costs nothing.
Put your own reservations and order value in below. The full calculator takes your margin, your season length and your own contract.
6% of that is added to your guest’s checkout. The other 3% is card processing, billed by the platform that runs the payments. With Bodhisys you keep your own processor and pay them directly, so the only rate beside our name is the one at checkout.
Bodhisys is rental operations software built for inventory that leaves the building, in market since 2023. For low speed vehicle rental it collects the road licence, insurance, waiver and, where required, a sobriety check per listed driver before arrival, holds the vehicle until the set is complete, and tracks a plated vehicle against the streets it is allowed on with an out-of-zone alert at the crossing.
Course carts and LSVs sit in one catalogue. There is no monthly fee. A 4.5% charge is added to each reservation and paid by your customer at checkout. Bodhisys is younger than FareHarbor and Peek Pro and has a smaller install base; an operator whose revenue is mostly timed tours is better served by an incumbent.
A plated vehicle with a VIN, seat belts, lights and a 25 mph ceiling, road legal on streets posted at 35 mph or under in most states. Mokes, GEMs and street-legal carts are the common rental shapes. A course cart on private property is a different vehicle in law even where it looks the same.
A driver licensed for the public road, listed by name, with insurance that covers the vehicle there, a signed waiver, and in some jurisdictions a sobriety check before it moves. On Bodhisys each of those is collected per listed driver before arrival and the vehicle stays held until the set is complete.

Yes. They sit in one catalogue on the same availability, rates, delivery runs and checkout. What differs is the document set that holds each unit back, and that lives on the vehicle record. The golf cart page covers the mixed fleet.
