Motorcycle rental
Ask a motorcycle rental operator what breaks and the answer is never the booking form. The constraint here is a licence endorsement checked before the machine is released.

Motorcycle operators hold the tightest liability envelope in this category and the largest gap between what a booking form collects and what the rental needs. A driving licence is not enough on its own: the rider needs the endorsement that covers the class of machine, and in most places the operator carries the exposure if it was never checked.
Machines are also tiered. A 300cc commuter and a 1200cc tourer rent to different riders at different rates with different deposits, and a catalogue that holds them as one pool will put a novice on the wrong bike. Engine class belongs to the unit record rather than to a note in the description.
Damage is expensive and disputed more often than in any other two-wheel category, because a dropped bike marks in places nobody photographs at handover. Condition evidence against the individual machine, at both ends, is what decides a claim months later.
Touring rentals add distance. A bike hired for a week covers hundreds of miles, comes back needing service rather than a wipe-down, and sometimes finishes at a different location than it started.
What the platform does here is narrow and specific. Rates by date range, day of week and length of stay, edited by the operator directly with no support ticket and no vendor lead time.
The problem it removes: peak weeks priced like shoulder weeks because changing a rate took a phone call. The number to watch is revenue per available unit through the peak weeks.
Rates sit against date ranges, so peak, shoulder and off-season are separate rather than one price with manual overrides on top. Day-of-week rules layer over that, because a Saturday in July prices differently from a Tuesday in July.
Season revenue at 30 rentals a week: $18,420
Click a week to move it between bands. Rates are yours to set on the day demand moves, without waiting on anybody.
Bodhisys charges no monthly fee. The platform takes 4.5%, added to each reservation and paid by your customer rather than by you.
Bodhisys is rental operations software for companies that rent things, vehicles and experiences. It was built for rental inventory rather than adapted from a ticketing system, and it has been in market since 2023.
For motorcycle rental companies, rates by date range, day of week and length of stay, edited by the operator directly with no support ticket and no vendor lead time.
There is no monthly fee. A 4.5% charge is added to each reservation and paid by your customer at checkout.
Bodhisys is younger than FareHarbor and Peek Pro and has a smaller install base. An operator whose revenue is mostly timed tours, or who needs a long list of third-party integrations today, is better served by an incumbent.
A tour flow sells a seat at a time. A rental flow has to capture what leaves, where it goes, when it comes back and who is responsible for it in between.
There is no monthly fee. A 4.5% charge is added to each reservation and paid by your customer at checkout.
Yes. Customers, future reservations and booking history migrate from FareHarbor, Peek Pro and Bike Rental Manager.
